The Cambridge based independent recruitment consultancy asked Affinity for a new and fresh approach to reflect its key specialist areas of accountancy, executive and office recruitment. The site also incorporates some innovative new features to help both clients and candidates alike.

The new website has something for everyone. Candidates can now register to receive regular job updates direct to their email inbox so they are kept up to date with the latest jobs that might be of interest. All they have to do is input the salary, location and type of role they are looking for and they will be updated automatically every time a relevant job comes up. In addition, they can get help on creating a CV and download templates to help them as well as finding out top tips for improving their interview techniques.

Pure Resourcing Solutions’ clients will also benefit. A series of microsites has been developed for clients to showcase their company to potential candidates. The microsites contain useful information about the company and what it’s like to work for and contain advertisements for all the jobs at that company to help reach a wider pool of potential applicants.

There is also a special ‘Temp Zone’ which includes an online timesheet system which allows temps to fill in and submit their timesheets over the web. The new system is directly linked to the payroll and accountancy systems to reduce admin and ensure prompt payment and invoicing to clients. If a temporary member of staff forgets to submit their timesheet they will receive an email prompt so that they get it in on time. New facilities for temps also include a salary calculator and guidance on how to set up a limited company.

David Culley, from Pure Resourcing Solutions says of the new website:
“As a company our branding really stands out in the market place and we wanted our website to do the same. The animal theme arose from the fact that we treat all our candidates and our clients as individuals and they all have different needs. It’s all about diversity. Very often a web-based search is the first step a candidate will take when looking for a new job so it’s important that we can offer something that’s really going to help them.”
