Nationwide Parts Supplier appoints Affinity

FP&S Parts (the nationwide haulage and transport industry parts supplier with 16 branches across the UK) has appointed Affinity New Media to assist in the development of a new client interface to allow ease of ordering and tracking of a comprehensive range of trailer and truck parts.

Written in Java using EJB 2 and hosted on IBM WebSphere with data stored in a DB2 database the whole system will integrate with the client's existing order system hosted on an AS/400 server.

The project is due for completion later this year.
