Affinity’s server technicians have the knowledge and experience to make our service reliable and if problems arise they are quick to respond to limit any downtime occurring.
We offer a full range of hosting and Internet solutions including; UNIX hosting, NT hosting, database hosting, secure server hosting, dedicated servers and server co-location.
The servers are situated on a main internet backbone at a recognised tele-house. Affinity work in partnership with Rackspace Managed Hosting Ltd who are consistently rated in the top 3 ISP’s in the UK and whose client list includes Nikon UK, Renault UK, Vue Entertainment Corp and HM Government.
Managed hosting supplies a 365/24/7 support service for business critical hosting operations with hardware repair and swapouts, back-up solutions and robust firewalls.
Data is stored in a mirrored RAID to guard against disk failure. The included standard managed backup quota is 25 GB per week with 2 week's retention. The default scheme is weekly full backups with daily differential / incremental backup.
Required ports are monitored at 5 minute intervals 24 hours a day. Errors and performance data are reported to our technical team via email.
