Expansion Prompts 3 Appointments at Affinity

Norwich based, NMA Top 100 web design agency Affinity New Media have expanded their development teams and appointed three new staff members as they continue to win new national contracts.

After winning several large scale national and regional web site projects with clients including Party Packs, Cats Protection, Girl Guide Anglia amongst others. Affinity have appointed new staff to meet the demands of the additional workload and to increase internal resource.

Ian Hutson has been appointed as Business Development Manager and will take Affinity’s technical expertise to Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Ian previously worked for Europe’s largest office stationery wholesaler Spicers Ltd covering a territory valued at £6.5 million in and around London. His IT pedigree comes from his time working in Diss for an IT distribution company.

Matt Brazier has been appointed as Senior Developer and Project Lead for Affinity and has been working on high profile web based projects since 2000. He is an Enterprise level .NET Developer and Architect and he has been working at the cutting edge of web development alongside some of the UK’s leading Technology Partners.

Andy Kershaw has been appointed as Senior Developer for Affinity and began his career in 1999 working for a nationwide online business directory. His skills lie in ASP.NET and has also worked administering Cisco routers and key Microsoft sever products including IIS, ISA Server, Active Directory and Exchange.

Affinity’s Managing Director Max Edwards said about the new appointments, ‘Affinity are winning more nationwide contracts and the quality of Ian, Matt and Andy reflect the level at which we are now working at.’
