Database Design & Integration
For any dynamically driven web site the database is the backbone. With sites that feature many thousands of products or have updateable areas or an ECRM system the design of the database is paramount and can make or break an online structure. Our database technical team have the experience to transfer even the most complicated of information structures into a design that can be facilitated easily into the Affinity Control Centre™ interface.
As well as designing our own database structures to mirror the structure of our client’s businesses, we also can integrate existing databases into the Affinity Control Centre™ and client’s web site. This process matches the fields and structure of the client’s database that can contain thousands of entries and transfers them seamlessly so the fields can be updated either via the Affinity Control Centre™ or by linking the system to the stock control or availability system our clients use.
The size and nature of systems can mean that database design can be an extremely complex process. We have already integrated very large and varied stock control systems into our sites so have the experience to offer our clients the peace of mind that are able to take on the scale of their business.
