ETT Marcoms is responsible for the QD Group's above and below the line marketing activity. Each division has a specialist account manager for the QD account and the whole relationship is overseen by Account Director, Max Edwards.
‘When we first started working with the QD Group, the work was purely above the line marketing,’ explains Edwards. ‘But as the company grew bigger, it started to use our other services. Edwards says pay-back in terms of experience is invaluable. ‘The great thing about QD is that they never forget how anything has worked,’ he adds. ‘They know the acid test of any campaign is the price of the product. It's the one thing people - customers - like and remember the QD Group stands for. So all marketing is ultimately geared towards being more aggressive at the point of sale. If it doesn't work, QD are on the phone right away, wanting to analyse why, so we can immediately address the situation. The insight we gain from working with QD is so useful: it gives us a well-informed broad view of the retail market, how a large and successful retail operation works. And we are able to translate that into advice for our clients in other areas.’
